South-West Boulder Cricket Club commenced their membership of the Goldfields Cricket Association in the 1925-1926 playing their first match against the Moonta Turks club at the Kalgoorlie Oval (now Sir Richard Moore) on Sunday 01st November 1925 (on the West wicket). They were to record a first up win on the first innings by 17 runs when the fixture concluded on the 08th November 1925. So began the journey of one of the most successful clubs on the Eastern Goldfields, during a period of what was arguably the high water mark of cricket in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the 1930's.

By 1927-28 they had played in & won their first Grand Final against Centrals. In the rules of the time however, they were able to be issued a challenge by the side who had been Minor Premiers at the end of the home & away season, in this case Centrals Cricket Club & Centrals annexed the premiership by a mere 18 runs.

The following season 1928-1929 the tables were turned when Centrals won the grand final & were challenged for the premiership by South-West Boulder & defeated by 80 runs. Beaten by Collegians in the grand final the following season, S-W B then went on a stellar run of 5 premierships in a row from 1930-31 through to 1934-1935 (the 1931-1932 premiership having also being won by a challenge match against Kalgoorlie Cricket Club).

1939-1940 saw their last A Grade premiership having beaten the Golden Mile Cricket Club. In 1950-51 (the last of the Goldfields Cricket Association) they made the grand final again but were beaten by Hannans. The 1951-1952 season was the first of the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association  (the combination of the Goldfields Cricket Association & Eastern Goldfields Saturday Turf Cricket Association) & South-West Boulder Cricket Clubs last as a club. On Wednesday the 17th September 1952 at a club meeting it was decided to amalgamate with the Lake View Cricket Club & the combined club played in it's first season of A Grade in the EGCA in the 1952-1953 season.
